Sports & Games Camp Instructor

The LBIF is looking for an energetic and engaging professional to teach kids ages 6-12 in our afternoon “Not Just Your Everyday Sports & Games” camp.  Candidates must have solid experience teaching and coaching children.  Candidates ideally have at least 1 to 2 years’ experience in the field and have either completed their 4-year degree or are going to be entering their senior year.  Candidates who are currently physical education teachers or studying to become one is a plus.  Candidates will be responsible for introducing a mix of dynamic and interactive non-traditional sports and games that create a fun experience for campers.  Must be able to maintain a safe and controlled environment.  Candidates will be responsible for collaborating with Camp Coordinator to create a unique curriculum of age-appropriate activities that are new and different from typical sports & games.  Program focus will include teaching and practicing valuable life skills including teamwork, sportsmanship, resilience, perseverance, and creative problem solving.


Candidates will work from 12:15-2:45, Mondays through Friday and will also have an hour of paid “prep” time built into their weekly schedule.

Pay: $15.00/hour
