Summer Camp Assistant- Tiny Tykes

The LBIF is looking for an energetic and engaging young-professional to assist teaching kids ages 3-4 in our Tiny Tykes camp. Candidates must be able to take direction from the teacher they are working with, be able to work in a team environment, be able to multi-task and to keep children engaged in what the teacher is saying. Candidates ideally have 1 to 2 years’ experience in the field and have either recently completed their 4-year degree or are going to be entering their senior year. Young-professionals who are pursuing a degree in teaching or an art related field is a plus. Experience working with young children is a plus as well. Must be able to follow instruction from the teacher in the room and to assist with anything they may need.

Candidates will work from 8:45am-12:15pm, Monday through Friday. They will be held responsible for up to 20 children at a time with the teacher in the classroom. A volunteer will also be in the room to assist.

Pay: $9.00/hour
